Buses
There are many buses plying between the Taiwan Taoyuan (Taipei) International Airport and Taichung City.
Bus ticket counters are located in the Arrival Passenger Reception Areas of both Terminals I and II.
It takes 2.5 hours from the Taiwan Taoyuan (Taipei) International Airport to Taichung City.
The terminal stop will be at Taichung Railway Station.

Ticketing: Tickets sold at bus counters.
Terminal 1 bus pickup point: Bus pickup zone at B1 Arrivals.

Taoyuan International Airport a complete THSR shuttle bus routes network connecting the airport, Novotel Hotel, and THSR station, providing comfortable, convenient,low-cost and practical transportation option for travelers.

Ticket price: full fare NT$30, half fare NT$15.
Tickets must be purchased ahead of time for each journey. Tickets are sold at the following locations:
(1) Taoyuan Airport: UBUS service counters at Arrivals Lobby of Terminals 1 and 2.
(2) THSR Taoyuan Station: platform 1 at bus depot.
Intervals: 5 - 10 minutes intervals during peak times.
Trip length: 25 minutes.

Taxi
Taxis operating by shifts are located at the west side of the Terminal 1's and Terminal 2's Arrivals Lobby at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
All taxis and drivers must pass a strict evaluation process by the Aviation Police Office before being allowed to service airport travelers.
The comprehensive management protocol ensures safety for all travelers.
--Fare standards
Taxi fare is based on the meter , highway tolls not included. Taxis will also transport passengers throughout all of Taiwan according to passenger need.
Fares are charged according to set standard rates.

Taiwan High Speed Rail(THSR)-Taichung Station → NCHU
City bus：
The fair is free for THSR passengers.
THSR Taichung Station－Taichung English & Art Museum.
It takes 50 minutes from the THSR station to NCHU.
Passengers may board the bus at any stop, and only disembark at THSR statio.
Taxi：
NT$250-280
It takes 15-20 minutes from the THSR Taichung station to NCHU.

City bus：
Those students without bikes or motorcycles most rely on buses for travels. Taichung Bus Company No. 33 and No. 35, and Ubus No. 73 are just outside the main entrance. Taichung Bus Company No. 35 stops at the east gate and in front of Shuehfu Road. Below is a description of the bus routes and the landmarks.

Service Hours
The first bus sets off around 6am and the last bus winds up at 10pm. The bus comes every 8-10 minutes during peak hours. During off-peak hours, #33 comes every 12 minutes, #35 about 30-60 minutes, #73 about 20 minutes.
