FAQ for Overseas Students

  Who can join in this summer school?

Students currently enrolled in a university all over the world.

Students from China should be enrolled in one of TCUS's partner universities, please check here.

If you are a Chinese student, and your university does not show in the table provided, please contact the office of international affairs of the university which you wish to join. Contact information is here.

 How many sessions can I register?

As long as the program time is not overlapping, thers is no limitation. 

  How many courses can I take within one session?

In CCU, you can choose one course in the morning and one course in the afternoon. CCU will sort out the course accoding to your choices.

So you will receive the final schdule, when CCU finish the sort out. (Notice: PRC students can not choice the course in the afternoon.)

  If I am a student of TCUS’s partner universities, should I pay the full fees?

The discount policies are provided by each campus. If you find the name of your university is on the list of the webpage “Special Rates,” you can contact the International Office at your home university for a consultation of eligibility. For students from China, please check on the webpage of “Information for PRC Students.” 

 If I am an international student in Taiwan, what kind of program fee should I pay for?

The definition of the student’s category is depending on the university you are currently enrolled in, not your nationality. If you are a student (including international student) of TCUS, please choose “TCUS Students”. If you are a student (including international student) of the university in Taiwan, please choose “Domestic Students”. If you are a Taiwanese but studying in a university abroad, please choose “International Students”. Please check on the webpage of " Payment ".

Are meals included in the fee?

The fee you see in the payment is not included meals.

If there is a typhoon or earthquake during the summer program, should I go to class?

When the authorities call off school or work for the rest of the day, then all classes are cancelled. You can find weather information @ Central Weather Bureau
